alwayspages unveils its unique text based organiser for public testing. In a world of point-and-click, this type of organiser is a rare breed. Its concept centres around lists written in plain vanilla text files. Submit your list to list.alwayspages and apply a “view” - instantly it comes alive; presentable, sortable and useful. Got a big list of people? - instantly extract dates, names, countries and more. As these are plain text files you can simply drop them onto a memory card and take them with you; no special programs and no net access required.

Whilst similar projects exist, it is believed to be the first publicly accessible organiser application using YAML (rhymes with “camel”). YAML is structured text, it was designed to be highly readable, highly portable and it can be learnt in 5 minutes. It’s the modern day successor to CSVs and quite unlike XML.
